July 14, 2006 - 08:48 AM Holly from United States Drop me a lineMissed you at the silk house. Next time you're close, I'll be sure to check you out. We seem to have a lot in common. If you're not busy, I'm singing Irish music at the Silk House Aug. 5th. BTW, have you heard of Connie Dover? She's out of the midwest, & sings a lot of old Celtic songs. Go raibh maith agat, Holly

June 14, 2006 - 11:56 AM Sean from United States Drop me a lineWow! the longer set at the Arts Festival really allowed you to display more versatility than the "Art all night" event. Your performance has a feeling of truth to it. Those are your words that you are sharing with your "friends", even friends you don't know. And your marketing skill is just right for the situation. April 30, 2006 - 11:11 AM Sean King from United States Drop me a lineYour performance at the Art all night was beautifully rendered. You sang simplify from the heart. No artificial forcing to hide a lack of talent. You have real talent and will go far. Thank you for sharing your talents with the community around you. Sean K

April 25, 2006 - 02:57 PM Laura Taylor from United States Drop me a lineHi Cathasaigh,
I really like the 2 CDs you made and I can't wait until the next one is out! Me and Lucia dance to the music alot and I like to listen to it. It's in the CD player right now. I can't wait to see you again. James had fun the one time you played at Vincentian. We really had fun with Mary Mac. I was listening to your new music on the computer and Lucia ran over and pushed Nathaniel out of the way, because she KNEW you when she heard your voice, and it was different music than the ones in the CD player, but she knew them from seeing you play. I think your skirts are very beautiful and nice when you play. Hope to see you soon. Laura

April 24, 2006 - 11:17 PM Anne Taylor from United States Drop me a lineCathasaigh, So much of your music touches me, but for some reason, the song - Before We Die hits a cord with me that goes very deep. I think it is because of the depth of the message. This song touches upon the many dimensions of life: Our mortality, our differences, our uniqueness, our sameness, the heart that unites all men from one ocean to another, the quickness of events that sometimes define our lives, the heart wrenching reality that young men encounter when experiencing what war really and truely means. The soldiers wish in the story is to go home. On a very basic level, that is the wish of all men - To be home. My wish is that this song will touch others with the knowledge that war brings us far from home, and tears our souls like a sad and howling wind. It is a pain like no other.
May your gift spread like the rings of a pond when touched by a pebble.
