It's Doug again... I just saw your show at The Coffee Den and it was fantastic. I like your songs even more now! They're insightful, intelligent, I agree with them, and they're mesmerizing melodic. I had those beautiful, beautiful tunes in my head so sweetly for a long while.

I'd say which ones were my favorite but there were at least around 7 which floored me, so it gets hard to say at that point. But you should definetly keep going with the two experimental pieces (the "hold music" at the start of the piano segment) because they were totally awesome.

P.S. are you a big Pink Floyd fan? On The Turnign Away isn't exactly one of their hit songs so does that mean you're deep into them?

Hi Cathasaigh! This is Doug from the Coffee Den... your original songs are truly amazing! I mean, they're staggeringly powerful. To me, it's like you've been a proffessional musician for a hundred years. And know that my compliments aren't the least bit embellished. Some people think I'm lying when I talk to them, and it drives me mad. I'm always honest with my praise.

Can't wait to see the show at the Den this weekend!

I saw Cathasaigh twice, both at the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern. She is a whirling dervish of long skirts and ringing, expressive vocals. Talented and gracious girl.

Despite how seriously she takes her craft, I detected some swaying and singing along when I was on stage performing "With a Little Help from My Friends".

There may have also been a picture taken.

I wonder if she enjoys Loreena McKennitt as much as I do.

I look forward to seeing her on either the 22nd or the 29th (or both!) and hope she will add me to her ever-growing mailing list.

Saw the show at The Square Cafe and was really impressed. The set was wonderful and kept in line with the St. Patrick's Day theme. Strongest voice of all the singers and quite a jump from opening act to Headlining the show! Put me on your email list. Love to hear you again soon.

Finally returned from the show at Square Cafe. Personally, I think the place lived up to it's name(possibly old memories creeping up from coffee-shop-shows I participated in myself), but it was a good night and everyone did a fine job. I'll need to get a hold of your cd some time, I heard it a while ago and have been meaning to. Hope you enjoy Chuck Owston, he spent a while in Britain researching celtic folk before making that cd. g'nigh-

Hi Cathasaigh!
It was simply lovely to see you at Seib's the other day. I do not know if you came purely to see us perform but thank you for the support. It is always encouraging to see familiar faces in the crowd. Good luck on all upcoming performances! Hopefully I will someday have the privilege of coming and hearing you. Give the family my regards and feel free to email me or stop by church anytime you're free. I'd love to see you! Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day! (a couple days early)

Truly Yours,
Caitlin

Hi Cathasaigh. I just wanted to write, and let you know that I very much enjoyed your performance at the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern, on Tuesday night. You sounded wonderful. I hope to see you, again, soon. God bless you. ^_^

Heyo! I wanted to express how I'm a huge fan of yours. I recently moved away from Pittsburgh and the only thing I miss is coming to see you perform and hear your music. I wish I had the kind of musical talent you do. My favorite song is "Hypnotized", I get it stuck in my head all of the time and the other song you wrote about your Papa was beautifully written. I can't wait til I hear some of your new material. :-)

I loved your show when you performed at St. Matthews. I talked to a comedian friend of mine that also listened to your CD. He is at a coffee house across from St. Clair Hospital tonight and will get the info-from them if you would like to perform there. I know that we all appreciated your talents and message at the church. Hope you are feeling better.
A loyal fan,
Jahn Mentzer
PS It would have been to lyrical to say a loyal fan-Jahn
